Where is the best location to place the thermostat? The best place for the thermostat is the room where you spend the most time, in many cases the living room or kitchen. You can use these or change them so your home is as warm or as cool as you would like it to be. These steps will temporarily hold the temperature where you set it for two hours until the next programmed cycle begins.
