Replies 7. I have both the latest Nero Ultra and Roxio. I like and use Nero for audio CD burning as I like the way it works better. However, I also use some features in Nero such as the Label Creator and several others.

I have both installed as I do some PC support and between the two, that is what most of my customers have. First, InCD is Nero's packet writing program. It's equivalent to Roxio's Direct CD. It's OK to install it if you do not have another packet writing program installed. However, if you have another packet writing program installed you can only have one as they will conflict.

You can uninstall the version of Nero before you install the new one. Uninstall it, then restart Windows, then do the install of the new version.

Just let it do a full install. Do you know if this problem has been resolved. You should get a pop-up asking you to import the previous session. Click YES. The files will be added to the data project. You then add the new files to the project and Burn.

You could be right, but it sounds more like InCD to me. Maybe not though. I have seen something similar when I have used multi session discs in Nero. I have tried it with Creator Classic and the problem is that I have to manually add to the project the files that I want.

With Nero it is not necesary to do it manually because it does the automatic refresh of the folders in the data CD inserted and determines what the changes are and I only have to burn. I think that nero compares the folders in the data Cd with the same folders in the hard disk. I turn everything I can that is "automatic" on my system. I want to be at least asked if anythingis to be changed. You need to be a member in order to leave a comment.
