You will not be able to register your iLok at iLok. If you attempt to use this feature, you should document your password. Make sure not to lose it as there is no way to reset the password without returning the iLok to PACE. Q: What is Internet Activation and how can I use it for authorizing plug-ins? A: Internet Activation is a new feature introduced with Pro Tools 6.
In order to use Internet Activation an iLok USB dongle needs to be connected to your system and your computer needs to be connected to the Internet. Note: Internet Activation is not available for all Digidesign and Digidesign-distributed plug-ins at this time.
Many customers are upgrading Digidesign systems and currently own Digi distributed plug-ins. The following plug-ins will work on your new HD system with Mac OS 9 using your existing floppy based key disks:. Just make sure that the plug-ins are installed in your plug-ins folder and authorize them via your floppy disk drive and key disks. Two versions of the software were included. One for iLok authorization, one for floppy based authorization. Keep in mind that the following plug-ins utilize new copy protection technology and will only work on Pro Tools HD systems with iLok authorizations:. You may notice that the 'cookie consent' form pops up more often than usual lately - we are tweaking it behind-the-scenes to make sure it's working comprehensively.
If you see it again it's because something has changed so please set your preferences accordingly. I am guessing somehow it is just the audio that would have come with a video track normally, since this studio's main work is post production audio for video. Am I doing something wrong with my import? Are you saying you see only one track in the dialog box or you see all files and then when you import only one imports?
I would call the studio and have them open up their own OMF. But have them try to open the OMF and confirm it actually works. I've had similar instances coming from Final Cut and it's always a good thing to have the originating person open their own export to verify it's good. Oh, and what length is the material, and what size is it per OMF? Usually you can tell if something is up when the file in question is way too small for the duration of audio it should contain.
I only see one file when I try to import the session. Named A1 in each case. The studio did verify the uploads have all the files - 11 mono tacks.
